We are happy to bring another Army Men game to Porting Kit: Army Men RTS! This one really has the concept as red alert and Command & Conquer. Build a big army and crush the other base. Real fun in multi-player as well. I tested the first level and works flawless in my tests on my low-end macbook air. Unfortunatly I couldn’t make a Cross-tie yet of the game, so it’s for now Porting Kit only. Check out the gametrailer for some visuals up here…

Install is simple:
1. Get Porting Kit if you don’t have it yet.
2. Then download the GOG.com setup files from Army Men RTS when you purchased/owned it.
3. In Porting Kit search the game on the library –> server tab and click install.
4. After installation of the game, “exit” the GOG installer.
5. Click “Play” to start the game! Have fun!

Shadez (THE BLACK OPERATIONS) is a strategy war-game packed with fun-filled explosive action guaranteed to separate the men from the boys and women from the girls. You play the role of a general of an elite mercenary force. Your goal is to advance and destroy the oncoming enemy before they attack and infiltrate your base. You need to use your expert knowledge of troop deployment, military hardware and air strikes to take out this fearsome and unconventional enemy. This is a Black Operation - a war that nobody wants to know about. If you are successful, you and your men will be rehired for future missions.

Think you can outwit the enemy? Well now, YOU are in command. Let’s see what military strategies and tactics you can bring to the battlefield. And remember, no one gets left behind! OK, so every time you destroy an enemy unit, you earn funds which you use to increase the strength of your army. Every time an enemy unit reaches your base (which is off the game screen to the left), the health of your army is reduced. Once your health reaches zero, your base has been destroyed and it’s game over for you and your men. There are different game levels (from easy to expert) with different types of gameplay and strategy. Good Luck General!

How to Play: Choose your level and click on 'Start War'. The map at the bottom of the game screen shows you where your units are and where the enemy units are. You can scroll the map by clicking and dragging the blue box left or right. This way, you can see the whole battlefield. You can also use the arrow keys (Left & Right) on your computer keyboard to scroll the map. Use your mouse to choose between Units, Strikes and Upgrades at the bottom of the game screen.

Click on the Units tab, then click on the troop's icon. This will put your men on the battlefield, one at a time. Once the clock reaches all the way around, the troops will deploy. You can build up to 9 units at the same time. You can Stop/Halt individual troops (to hold ground) by clicking on them in the main game screen. Otherwise your infantry and tanks will keep on marching even if there are no enemies, and will be gone once they reach the far right side of the screen.

The Upgrades tab shows the available units or strikes that you can add to your arsenal. Click on your weapon of choice and the new item will then be added to either to the Units panel or Strikes panel. The Strikes tab lets you select the kind of attack you want to activate. Once the clock reaches all the way around, the strike is ready to launch. Different strikes can target different enemy units. To launch a strike, click on the item in the Strikes tab and then click on 'LAUNCH'. You can now select your target in main game screen and fire!
